  • Guest Speaker at NPower session: Career journey in Tech

Guest Speaker at NPower session: Career journey in Tech

Speaker at an NPower Canada session with newcomers and professionals navigating careers in tech.

I shared my journey into tech in Canada, arriving as a student, learning a new system, and building a career over time in tech consulting and people leadership.

I focused on the lessons I learned along the way, especially the ones that aren’t always obvious:
✨️Learning the unwritten rules of the Canadian workplace
✨️Speaking up and raising your hand before you feel fully ready
✨️Building relationships consistently, not only when you need something
✨️Understanding that growth takes time and doesn’t always follow a straight line

These lessons shaped how I navigated my own career and how I work today.
